Open Face Chinese poker that plays like the real thing
Thirteen cards, three rows, one rule that ruins everything: the bottom has to beat the middle, and the middle has to beat the top. Break it and you lose the hand before your opponent shows a card. This is that game, on your phone, with bots worth playing.
Free, play money only

Pineapple + Classic
The whole game in thirty seconds
You build three poker hands at once. Three cards on top, five in the middle, five on the bottom. Cards come to you a few at a time and once you place one it never moves again — that's the "open face" part, and it's what makes the game.
When both players have thirteen cards down, the rows are compared: top against top, middle against middle, bottom against bottom. Each row you win is a point, all three is three more, and strong hands pay royalties on top.
Two ways to play
Pineapple
Three cards, keep two
The variant everyone plays. Each turn deals three cards, you place two and burn one. Hands finish in four turns instead of eight and the royalties get silly.
Classic
One card at a time
Thirteen cards, one at a time, no discards. Slower, tighter and the purest test of whether you can read a board before it exists — and where the app starts you.
Built by someone who plays it
Most OFC apps are either a dead multiplayer lobby or a scoring calculator with a table drawn behind it. This one is a single-player game that respects the maths.
Bots that punish a lazy top row
Three difficulties — Beginner, Grinder, Shark. The Shark counts what you've shown, chases royalties when the board allows it and folds the greedy line when it doesn't.
Heads-up or three-handed
1v1 or 1v2 at the same table. Three-handed changes everything: the same nine cards get seen by more players and half your outs are already dead.
Missions, levels and a bankroll
Daily and weekly missions, XP levels that unlock stakes, and coins that go in and out of every match. It's play money — but it's the reason you'll play ten more hands.
No account, works offline
Open it and you're playing. Nothing to sign up for, hands work with no signal, and your progress can be moved to a new phone with an email code if you want it to.
Learn the game properly
Everything below was written while building the game, which means it matches how the game actually scores — including the bits most explanations skip.
Before you sign up
Is OFC Poker free?
Yes. The beta is free and the game is free to play. There is play-money currency for stakes and missions, and no real-money gambling anywhere in the app.
Do I need to know how to play OFC first?
No. The app opens with a guided hand that walks you through placing your first thirteen cards, and there is a rules screen you can pull up mid-match. If you would rather read first, start with the rules guide.
Which variants can I play?
Pineapple (three cards dealt, two placed, one discarded) and Classic (one card at a time). Both are playable heads-up or against two opponents, over 5, 10, 20 or 50 rounds.
Is it on Android?
Not yet. The beta is iOS only, through TestFlight. Leave your email and pick Android in the reply — that is the signal we use to decide when to build it.
Can I play against other people?
Not in this build. Every hand is against the bots, which is deliberate: an OFC hand takes two minutes and waiting for a human to place three cards ruins it. Online tables are on the roadmap.
Want to play a hand instead of reading about one?
